Montana ✓

I decided I wanted to go to Montana. Actually, like many other things, I have been wanting to go for quite some time.
I waited for my day off to drive myself there. Left Calgary 6 am sharp.
Got to see the sunrise over Fort McLeod and what a scenery when approaching the border!
No problem getting in or out the US. Nicest people, they all wished me a good day and to enjoy myself. Montana is stunning and it's very unusual there is no snow in December. Ususlly this time a year it's -20, what a blessing and what luck!
I did some careful planning before going: I knew there would be no phone reception, I would be on my own and being so hot, bears are probably not sleeping yet.
4 hr hike along Red Eagle trail in Glacier National park.

Halloween

Halloween is always a big deal and a lot of hype building up to it.
I like the decorations especially. Did not get to do pumpkin carving last year so I made sure to do it this year.

Wolfdog Sanctuary ✓

I have been wanting to see wolf dogs for a long time now. Finally got to go.
Half wolves, half dogs. Too wild to live in a house not wild enough to live in the wilderness.
So here they live relatively free, but taken good care of. Loved them.

Waiting for 2018

It's been a year since I updated my blog.
Can't wait for 2017 to be over. I had it all, and lost it all. Or maybe had nothing and now gained it all. Happiest times and worst times.
I got to experience the entire range of emotions possible, even the ones I did not know existed.
Like when you go to the gym after a long time, muscles that you did not know existed hurt.
Slowly moving on. Happy to be doing some more postings while still in Canada.
